European ballet stars to perform in Nur-Sultan

A special choreographic style, distinctiveness of the dance, expressive plastique and unique performances. A gala concert with European ballet stars will take place in Nur-Sultan on April 28. Among them are a lead principal of the English National Ballet Isaac Hernandez, a principal of the Royal Opera House Covent Garden Mayara Magri, a principal dancer of the Vienna State Opera Denys Cherevychko, as well as famous soloists of Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo Simone Tribuna and Victoria Ananyan.

“During this visit to Kazakhstan, we will show to spectators two parts from two different ballets. First one is the Romeo and Juliet Pas de Deux staged by our choreographer Jean-Christophe Maillot. Second one is the Pas de Deux of the Kiss from La Belle. We have already been to Kazakhstan. We arrived in Almaty, and we really liked it. This time we will arrive in Nur-Sultan,” said Victoria Ananyan, a principal soloist of Les Ballets De Monte Carlo.

Kazakhstan Central Concert Hall will host the gala concert. An impressive program consisting of classical and modern ballet masterpieces and awaiting spectators will be held in two parts. A number of performances will be showed on the Kazakhstan stage for the first time.
