Dimash Kudaibergen’s songs played in Indonesia

A fan event under the name “Dimash - golden voice of Kazakhstan” took place in the capital of Indonesia. Participants played songs by the popular Kazakh singer. The meeting was organized by Dimash's local fan club, which has about 10,000 members. Some of them study the Kazakh language, and quite successfully. One of the fans read an abridged version of the “Enlik-Kebek” poem and dedicated it to the 125th anniversary of Mukhtar Auezov. The event was organized with the support of the Kazakh Embassy and the National Library of Indonesia, where a special exhibition was opened. Visitors can get acquainted with the culture of Kazakhstan.

“I am 62 years old, I have been studying Kazakh for six months. Dimash’s work motivated me to do this. I really liked the Kazakh language and gradually began to get acquainted with the work of Kazakh writers and poets,” opined Tita Srivahuni Kossatita, a member of DID fan-club.

“Indonesian citizens, youngers, even olders love Dimash. Disclude, it is growing very fast. Today`s event also included events especially found by Mr Mukhtar Auezov. This is the prominent figure of Kazakhstan and also, one of the members of Dimash fans also recited the poem in the Kazakh language. I think this kind of event is based on the cultural activities between the two countries to make two countries closer. Based on that we can also pull up on the other sectors of society from business people to economic relations between two countries,” said Rahmat Pramono, the Former Indonesian Ambassador to Kazakhstan.
