‘Digital’ documents have become available to Kazakh citizens in popular mobile applications now. Previously, it was possible to use them only through the eGov Mobile app. This was announced by Kazakh Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry. Everyone can find their identity card, driver’s license, vaccine passport, PCR test results, birth certificate and other documents in the public services section on platforms popular among Kazakh residents. There are 18 documents in total. As the relevant department said, electronic documents are an analogue of the original, which are used by about 10 million people to date. Digital documents can be used at all airports and railway stations of the country, as well as when receiving services from second-tier banks and notaries.
