For the first time in Kazakhstan,
a concert version of the opera «Der Freischütz» by renowned German composer
Carl Maria von Weber took place. The production coincided with the closing
ceremony of the Operalia international festival and the 11th theatrical season.
The author of the project idea was the chief conductor, maestro Alan Buribayev.
He noted that producing this opera is an important step for the theater troupe,
which seeks to grow creatively and explore new directions.
«I believe this new opera offers
an intriguing creative challenge that tests all our abilities, both vocal and symphonic.
At the end of the season, it provides a powerful impetus, allowing for a great
incentive for growth,» Buribayev said.
