Central Asian Forum «Be Woman» held in Almaty

Prominent women from various fields across more than 10 countries gathered in Almaty to discuss the topics of women’s leadership, business, gender equality, finance, innovation, and health. The «Be Woman» Central Asian Forum attracted over 3,500 participants eager to be inspired by success stories and share experiences. Maye Musk, the mother of SpaceX and Tesla founder Elon Musk, attended the event during her first visit to Kazakhstan. During her stay, she explored the city’s attractions, tried local cuisine, and even performed a traditional Tusaukeser ceremony. Other notable personalities and businesswomen, including Ayumi Moore Aoki, founder of the Women in Tech movement, psychotherapist Gabor Maté, and bestselling author Julie Lewis, were also among the guests and speakers at the forum.

«I've arrived at the conference today, and I am seeing hundreds, thousands of very strong, focused women who are open to learning and connecting. So, I think wherever we are in the world, women, when they gather together to learn and grow, and share insights and wisdom, it’s really powerful. So it’s very exciting on my first visit to Kazakhstan to feel this energy in the summit here,» Lewis shared.

«We want this to become a lasting initiative—the platform we’re currently creating. A big thank you to our talented girls who are building it. This platform is designed for all of us to come together, help, and share,» said Zhanna Kan, founder of the «Be Woman» Forum.
