In one of
Kazakhstan’s remote schools, students have access to a wide range of
extracurricular clubs covering robotics, dramatic and television arts,
journalism, painting and crafts, chess, and dombyra. This diversity, showcased
through photos, is designed to nurture both creative and intellectual skills. A
traveling exhibition titled «Auyl mektebi» has opened in Astana, where visitors
can see firsthand how children are mastering the latest technologies in the
modern, well-equipped school, enhancing their competitiveness. Following its
stop in the capital, the exhibition will move on to Turkistan and Almaty.
«Why was our
school chosen for the project? I think it’s because, over the past year, we’ve
launched various clubs and courses at our school-lyceum, and we’re already
seeing results. Our schoolchildren who participate have won awards in regional
and national robotics and science competitions,» said Ruslan Sailaubayev, principal
of the Bokeikhan hub school-lyceum No. 15.
«The works
featured in the creative hub will be displayed for 20 days and shared on social
media. The photographs highlight teachers who chose their profession as a
calling, as well as students who have achieved remarkable academic success.
Through this exhibition, we want to tell their stories – students and educators
who, despite the school’s remote location, dedicate all their energy to
learning and personal growth,» noted project officer Togzhan Kurmanzhankyzy.
