Kazakh capital will host the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA) Summit, which is slated for October 12-13. According to the CICA Secretariat, the forum will address the issue of transforming the organization into an international one. It bears noting that this year the CICA marks its 30th anniversary. Its establishment was initiated by Kazakhstan in 1992. To date, the organization includes 27 member states and covers more than 90 percent of Asia, generating about two thirds of the global GDP.
