American astronauts were amazed by colorful lakes in Kazakhstan. NASA provided pictures of red and dark green water, which were taken from the International Space Station. It also shows a small settlement situated near the Ashiozek River delta in the West Kazakhstan region. The U.S. Space Agency also reported that varying colors are displayed by microorganisms. Evaporation increases the salinity of the water in this region, making microbe species flourish.
