The aviation code of Almaty may
be featured in the Guinness World Records. The city’s landmark is made of trees
shaped into enormous letters ‘ALA’. It bears noting that the juniper garden was
planted last year, covering an area of over three hectares and featuring 2,500
two-meter coniferous trees. The letters are distinctly visible to passengers
landing at the airport. Moreover, they are observable even from space, and
their location can be identified using coordinates, according to the creators.
