The Kazpost national postal
operator is set to open a high-tech warehouse in Almaty spanning 40,000 square
meters. The facility will become a key transit hub in the Eurasian space,
enhancing Kazakhstan’s potential on routes from China to the EU, EAEU, and
Central Asia. Overall, the company turned profitable last year. It paid taxes
and duties amounting to over 32 billion tenge. Kazpost also experienced a 35
percent surge in parcel volumes over the past year, accompanied by a doubling
of delivery speed within the country, as reported by Chairperson of the Board
of Kazpost Assel Zhanassova to President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
