Kazakhstan and the Asian Development Bank discussed the development of a new ADB Country Partnership Strategy for 2023-2027. Kazakh Prime Minister Alikhan Smailov spoke with members of the ADB Board of Directors about its main provisions. As the parties noted, the new Country Partnership Strategy will become the fundamental document of cooperation between Kazakhstan and ADB, which will contribute to the achievement of development goals of the state. At present, the Government continues to work on increasing the investment attractiveness of the country, improving the fiscal policy and decarbonization of the economy. ADB Executive Director Sergio Lugaresi reiterated the commitment of the bank to continue cooperating closely with the Government of Kazakhstan in all targeted areas.
