Another 78 Kazakh companies will be able to

accreditation from the General Customs Administration of China. According to
the Ministry of Agriculture, a special temporary working group was established
to expand access for domestic agricultural products to the Chinese market. Its
meetings were held at the end of last year and the beginning of this year. During
the first meeting, the Chinese side provided proposals and comments on draft
protocols for the export of Kazakh sugar beet pulp to China, poultry meat supplies,
and draft veterinary certificates for slaughter cattle and animal hides. Additionally,
the relevant ministry sent a request to organize training for the country’s
veterinary and phytosanitary service employees. This initiative aims to enhance
the awareness of domestic specialists regarding the specific export
requirements of China for agricultural products. At the second meeting, Chinese
representatives expressed interest in importing horse meat, emphasizing the
need to expedite the relevant procedures. The next round of negotiations is
expected to take place next month.
