591 polling stations to operate during referendum in North Kazakhstan region

About 600 polling stations will operate in the North Kazakhstan region on October 6. Of these, 97 will be located in Petropavl and the rest in rural areas. All stations are ready for the upcoming political campaign. It is projected that over 375,000 individuals will cast their votes. The polling stations have all the necessary equipment, including special booths for people with disabilities. Additionally, mobile ballot boxes have been prepared for those who cannot cast their ballots at the polling stations. Notably, 606 commissions are involved in preparing and holding the nationwide referendum in the region.

«As of today, the precinct commissions are working with the population. Those who cannot participate will have the option to vote by submitting an application. Two members of the precinct commission will visit the elderly and sick at their homes using organized transportation,» said Sara Aldayeva, Chairperson of the territorial referendum commission of the North Kazakhstan region.
