Writings about commander Kultegin translated into 14 languages

A collection of writings dedicated to an illustrious commander, political and military figure of the Second Eastern Turkic Khaganate was translated into 14 languages. The work was published in English, Korean, Kyrgyz, Azerbaijani, Mongolian, German, Tatar, Chinese, French and other languages. The collection pieced together archive material related to the Kultegin complex. These are scientific evidence, historical documents, photographs and a scheme for the reconstruction of the complex.

“The work is peculiar by its more accurate conveying of the data of the ancient Turkic times in modern interpretation. This is a kind of a bridge between the ancient civilization and today’s world. We are increasingly recalling and talking about the spiritual revival and cultural heritage of our people. This collection is undoubtedly one of the great values of the New Kazakhstan,” said Dikhan Kamzabekuly, Vice Rector of Gumilyov Eurasian National University.
