President Tokayev arrives in Moscow for a warm and official meeting with President Putin, highlighting the close relations between Kazakhstan and Russia. At the Kremlin, the leaders and delegations discuss key issues ahead of high-level talks, including the Trade and Economic Cooperation Program until 2030. A major focus is the energy sector - especially nuclear energy and the construction of Kazakhstan’s first nuclear power plant. The sides also review the full energy agenda: oil production, transportation, refining, gas, petrochemicals, and electricity. During the visit, 13 strategic agreements are signed in energy, logistics, space, and IT, reinforcing the long-term partnership between the two countries.
