One of the largest Turkish companies is set to invest $650 million in a number of agricultural projects in Kazakhstan over the next five years. The two countries have already signed the corresponding memorandum of understanding, reported the Kazakh Ministry of Agriculture. In particular, the company intends to start the construction of greenhouse complexes in southern regions of the country by the end of the year. The first projects are planned to be completed next summer. In addition, the company intends to invest in research and development projects and is considering creating enterprises for the production of organomineral fertilizers, processing and sale of food products.
