The government of Thailand has
approved a temporary permit document, which allows Kazakh citizens to enter the
country without a visa. A visa-free regime between the two countries will be in
effect from September 25 this year for five months. During that period, Kazakh
citizens will be able to stay in Thailand without a visa for 30 days.
Kazakhstan proposes to extend
visa-free regime with Hong Kong to one month
In the meantime, Kazakhstan
proposed to increase visa-free regime with Hong Kong. Thus, the term of stay, which
previously did not exceed 14 days, can now be extended to one month. Besides, there
are plans to resume direct flights. According to the Kazakh Ministry of Trade
and Integration, this will allow to intensify trade and economic as well as cultural
and humanitarian cooperation between the two parties. It should be mentioned
that Kazakhstan is negotiating with a total of 26 countries on the introduction
of a mutual visa-free regime.
