T.Greminger: Kazakhstan can be a bridge-builder in a fragmented world

Speaking at the Astana International Forum, Mr. Greminger emphasized the urgent need for adaptable, well-rounded diplomacy in a fragmented and unpredictable world. As Director of an international training center for security professionals, he highlighted how the curriculum is evolving to meet the demands of emerging technologies, shifting geopolitical alliances, and disrupted global dialogue. With growing interest from Central Asia - especially Kazakhstan - Mr. Greminger praised the region’s potential for regional cooperation and Kazakhstan’s role as a diplomatic bridge in an era of great power rivalries. Advocating for multilateralism, dialogue-based diplomacy, and impartial leadership, he stressed the importance of training diplomats who are flexible, independent, and inclusive - qualities he sees reflected in Kazakhstan's current diplomatic corps.
