Radio stations in 26 countries broadcast Kazakh kui songs in Nauryz celebration

Radio stations from 26 countries congratulate Kazakhstan on Nauryzthe main spring holiday, by playing Kazakh kuis for the first time. Listeners acrossfive continents get acquainted with the melodies of Kazakh composers performed by the Kurmangazyorchestra. The enchanting sounds of the dombyra can deeply immerse audiences in the festive spirit, reaching citizens from the U.S., Spain, Brazil, India, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Iran, South Africa, Turkey,Georgia, and other countries. 

 

Meanwhileembassies and diplomatic missions ofKazakhstan abroad will celebrate the spring equinoxholiday alongside diaspora communities featuring a diverse programthe country’s Foreign Ministry reports.

 

“Kazakh embassiesdiplomatsand Kazakhsresiding abroad will certainly mark the NauryzholidayThe celebration will include richprogram in countries where substantial numbers ofKazakh citizens and ethnic Kazakhs reside. Theywill set up yurts as well as organize variouscompetitions and contests together with diasporagroups,” said Kazakh Foreign Ministry’s Spokesperson Aibek Smadiyarov.
