President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated Pope Leo XIV on the
anniversary of his pontificate. In his telegram, the Head of State emphasized
that the Pope’s consistent calls for the promotion of peace and dialogue serve
as a reliable foundation for strengthening human dignity and mutual
understanding among peoples and faiths. The President highly valued the
longstanding ties of friendship and close cooperation between Kazakhstan and
the Holy See, noting a commitment to further deepening these relations. President
Tokayev wished Pope Leo XIV good health and boundless energy in carrying out
his noble mission, and renewed his invitation for the head of the Catholic
Church to visit Astana.
