Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart
Tokayev received Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission
Bakytzhan Sagintayev and congratulated him on assuming the position. During the
meeting, the Head of State was presented with a report on the EEC’s priority
areas of activity and prospects for further development, as well as the state
of interaction between Kazakhstan and the Commission. The parties also
discussed issues related to the development of the Action Plan for implementing
the Eurasian Economic Path Declaration until 2030 and 2045, along with
preparations for the upcoming anniversary meeting of the Supreme Eurasian
Economic Council (SEEC), scheduled to take place this May in Moscow.
