Proposals for expanding international cooperation in the
electoral sphere were presented to Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. The
Head of State received Chairman of the Central Election Commission (CEC) Nurlan
Abdirov, who briefed him on the events organized by the country’s election
authorities as part of Global Elections Day and reported on the outcomes of the
2024 election campaigns.
