Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev discussed issues of
socio-economic development of the country with the government. The Head of
State was presented reports on key development indicators, the execution of the
national budget over the past seven months, and parameters of the draft budget
for 2025-2027. The government also presented medium-term forecasts. Thus, next
year the economy is expected to grow by 5.6 percent, with inflation decreasing
to 5.5-7.5 percent. President Tokayev instructed the government to improve the
quality of forecasting macroeconomic indicators and the state budget, as well
as introduce a clear mechanism of prioritization for public spending.
