Nomadic culture takes centre stage in Kazakhstan

The Fifth World Nomad Games began with an impressive grand opening ceremony in Kazakhstan’s capital, Astana, where President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev welcomed international dignitaries. The event, the largest of its kind, celebrates traditional sports and cultures from across the globe, with 89 countries participating in 21 sports. The games drew significant international attention, with bloggers, travelers, and media from various countries sharing their experiences. The event showcased Kazakhstan's rich nomadic heritage, with participants lauding the nation’s hospitality and cultural diversity. The next games will be hosted by Kyrgyzstan.
