President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and President of
Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan were presented with joint investment projects
between the two countries. Turkish companies intend to build a number of
industrial facilities in Kazakhstan, including a mining and processing plant, a
plant for deep processing of wheat and peas, gelatin production, and dietary
supplements. In addition, Turkish investors, together with Kazpost, are
establishing a logistics center at the international airport in Aktobe. These
projects are expected to attract more than $920 million in investment. Overall,
around 100 investment projects worth $4 billion have been implemented in
Kazakhstan with the participation of Turkish businesses, while work on another
50 projects is currently underway.
