Starting in 2026, recruitment for civil service positions in Kazakhstan will be conducted exclusively online. The application process has become more transparent and accessible. Candidate selection will be carried out automatically through the E-Qyzmet platform. A unified personnel system began operating in pilot mode two years ago. The changes are reflected in the new draft law on civil service. The document aims to digitalize the sector, use AI, and update candidate selection mechanisms.
«We are currently integrating AI into the E-Qyzmet
system to select personnel based on knowledge and competencies. Algorithms
analyze job descriptions, determine employee workload levels, and optimize the
assignment process,» said Darkhan Zhazykbai,
Chairman of the Kazakhstan’s Agency for
Civil Service Affairs.
