Next month, Kazakhstan is set to launch the SMART Daryn
national digital platform. Designed to support gifted schoolchildren and
teachers, the platform will help young Kazakh citizens prepare for national and
international competitions. Users will have access to online lessons and
consultations with experienced mentors. Additionally, the platform will host
online Olympiads and competitions with a proctoring system to ensure a
transparent process. Talented students will also be able to take entrance exams
for specialized schools through the platform. Currently, there are over 130
such schools in Kazakhstan.
«Our platform is primarily designed to automate all
processes. Previously, we organized various Olympiads and events on different
platforms, which made exporting databases and issuing certificates challenging.
While we were able to extract data from those platforms, it wasn’t always
convenient. Now, everything will be centralized, allowing us to access
analytics for any year, including in the future. Moreover, this provides
protection against forgery, as each certificate, diploma, and document will
have a unique QR code that can be scanned to verify its authenticity,» said
Adlet Kartov, SMART Daryn platform developer.
