Kazakhstan will increase oil production
by 7,000 barrels per day as early as December this
year under the OPEC+ agreement. Notably, the
eight OPEC+ countries have agreed to adjust their oil output by 137,000
barrels per day, compared to the previously agreed 1.65
million barrels. These countries include Saudi Arabia, Russia, Iraq,
the UAE, Kuwait, Kazakhstan, Algeria,
and Oman. In
2026, due to seasonal factors, the
countries will pause the planned production increases in January,
February, and March. The last adjustment to the oil production
levels was made in April 2023. Overall, Kazakhstan’s oil and
gas condensate production plan for 2025 amounts to 96.2 million
tonnes.
