Kazakhstan to co-produce Turkey's ANKA military drones in 2024

In recent years, Turkey has proliferated as an international supplier of unmanned aerial vehicles. TAI Anka is a family of UAV developed by Turkish Aerospace industries primarily for the Turkish air force. In 2007, Turkish Aerospace industries introduced Anka-S and the aircraft entered service with the Turkish Air Force. Anka unmanned complex was used in combat operations in the Middle East and in Nagorno-Karabakh area, where it proved its effectiveness. In May 2022, Kazakhstan Engineering and Turkish Aerospace Industries signed a memorandum of cooperation in the military-technical sphere. Our reporter Balzhan Samigullina conducted an interview with a UAS Programs and Business Development Manager from Turkish Aerospace Industries Erol Oğuz about future co-manufacturing of ANKA drones in Kazakhstan by next year.
