This
year, Kazakhstan plans to build 65 dairy farms. Of these, 20 facilities have
already been commissioned, and work on 24 projects is nearing completion. The
largest number of new enterprises is being constructed in the North Kazakhstan
region. According to the country’s Ministry of Agriculture, the replication of the
successful experience in preferential lending for the construction of dairy
farms in the region began last year. Livestock complexes are also being built
in several other regions, including 12 in Almaty, seven in Akmola, six each in
Pavlodar and East Kazakhstan, five in Kostanai, four in West Kazakhstan, with
another dairy farm under construction in the Aktobe region. In total, seven more
projects have been fully implemented in the Turkistan, Abai, and Zhetisu
regions.
