Kazakhstan and Slovakia are set to exchange experience in
water resource management as part of the Partnership Water Initiative, which
includes the introduction of modern irrigation systems and the modernization of
infrastructure. The topic was discussed at the Kazakhstan-Slovakia Business
Forum, attended by the Prime Ministers of both countries. The two sides also
expressed interest in expanding cooperation in the IT sector. Slovak companies
have been invited to jointly implement startups within the digital ecosystem.
Business representatives from both countries discussed partnership prospects in
energy, industry, and agriculture. Notably, bilateral trade between Kazakhstan
and Slovakia is on the rise, increasing by nearly half in the first four months
of this year.
