Kazakhstan is leading as the state with the lowest tariffs in the ranking of electricity prices among European countries. The top three also included Russia and Ukraine. The most expensive electricity, as it turned out, is in Iceland and Norway. In addition, according to the International Energy Agency, Kazakhstan is included in the list of leading countries with 100-percent access of the population to the power grid. It also takes the 8th place among 40 countries in terms of the electricity consumption. Since the beginning of 2021, electricity output in Kazakhstan has increased by more than 7.7 percent.
