Kazakhstan’s annual inflation slows down

In July, monthly inflation growth rate in Kazakhstan totaled 0.6 percent, while annual inflation slowed down to 14 percent in all regions of the country. At the same time, the highest values of annual inflation were recorded in Astana city, the North Kazakhstan and Ulytau regions, according to the National Bank of Kazakhstan. The rise in prices for food products decreased to 13.5 percent, with the lowest growth in the Atyrau region and the highest increase in the Ulytau region. Also, the growth rate of prices for non-food items decreased to 15 percent. Meanwhile, the cost of paid services slightly increased last month.
