Kazakhstan-Russia: deepening bilateral partnership

Today, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with Denis Manturov, Russian First Deputy Prime Minister, to discuss key areas of bilateral cooperation ahead of Tokayev’s upcoming state visit to Moscow. The President highlighted plans to increase trade turnover between the two countries to $30 billion in the coming years. Russia is one of the leaders in both the pace and volume of investments in Kazakhstan’s economy, with investment flows reaching $4 billion in 2024. Manturov reaffirmed Russia’s commitment to further deepening bilateral ties. Following the meeting, Tokayev awarded him the 1st Class «Dostyk» Order for his contributions to strengthening friendship and cooperation between Kazakhstan and Russia.
