Kazakhstan is about to provide free education to Kandas people – ethnic Kazakhs. A meeting took place in Tashkent, where it was announced that Kazakh citizens from Uzbekistan will be able to get an education in seven universities of the country. Universities in Kazakhstan regularly provide the opportunity to study there. Four percent of the quota on state grants is allocated to Kazakh citizens abroad.
“We, for example, have approximately 128 universities, and a huge number of young people are studying there. We endeavor to send our children abroad as well. We are grateful that seven universities in Kazakhstan invite our youth,” said Serikbay Ussenov, Chairman of the Kazakh Cultural Center in Uzbekistan.
