Kazakhstan has introduced three new visa categories to
attract skilled professionals, entrepreneurs, investors, and remote workers.
The first, Digital Nomad, is designed for IT professionals. The second, B9,
targets qualified specialists in medicine, science, innovation, education, and
the creative industries. Neo Nomad is aimed at digital entrepreneurs working
remotely for foreign companies.
«This type of visa was introduced in November of last year
and has already been issued to seven people. It is intended not only for
programmers but also for content creators, lawyers, accountants, and
consultants working remotely. The visa allows its holders to stay in Kazakhstan
for up to a year, providing an opportunity to experience the country’s rich
culture, national parks, and other attractions,» said Yerzhan Yerkinbayev,
Kazakh Deputy Minister of Tourism and Sports.
