Kazakhstan intends to boost annual grain exports to China up to one million tonnes

Kazakhstan intends to increase the volume of annual grain deliveries to China up to one million tonnes. According to the Agriculture Ministry, 22 million tonnes of grain and leguminous crops, a record figure over ten years, were harvested in 2022, including about 16.5 million tonnes of wheat. It should be noted that Kazakhstan secured the status of a grain power. Every year, the country supplies more than 40 countries with about 8 million tonnes of grain. In recent years, Kazakhstan has been a world leader in flour exports, sending up to 2.5 million tonnes per year abroad.
