Kazakhstan approves vaccination passports of several more countries

Kazakhstan has approved vaccination passports of four more countries: Canada, Montenegro, the Czech Republic and Japan, Kazakh Chief State Sanitary Doctor stated. In total, the vaccination certificates of 24 foreign countries are recognized in the country. Meanwhile, Kazakhstan’s vaccination passports are valid in 20 countries.

In addition, as early as next year, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan can mutually recognize a certificate of vaccination against COVID-19, according to Kazakh Vice Minister of Health Azhar Giniyat.

“This issue was discussed with the Uzbek side. We are not against recognizing the vaccination passport of Uzbekistan, and the neighboring country, in turn, is ready to recognize the vaccination certificate of our country. We will carry out work in this direction with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,” Giniyat said.
