UN Under-Secretary-General and Executive Director of the United Nations Population Fund Diene Keita, who visited Astana on an official visit, highlighted Kazakhstan's progress in healthcare, education, family values, and youth empowerment, describing the country as an emerging regional hub for innovation, research, and artificial intelligence. She also emphasized the importance of strengthening maternal health systems, preventing gender-based violence, and expanding international cooperation across Central Asia. During her visit, she visited several sites in the capital, including the EXPO Center, and held a series of meetings with young people, discussing the role of youth in sustainable development and innovation.
