In his state-of-the-nation address, Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev placed the main emphasis on systemic economic transformations aimed at improving the quality of life for Kazakh citizens. All the priority areas highlighted by the Head of State direct government policy towards achieving this goal, as noted by State Counsellor Erlan Karin on his social media account.
«President Tokayev’s state-of-the-nation address included about a hundred different initiatives, proposals, and instructions. Special mention should be made of such priorities as a well-designed reboot of the tax system, optimization of support measures for SMEs, introduction of affordable lending to the agro-industrial complex, fair and effective tariff policy, modernization of transport infrastructure, training of qualified personnel, end-to-end digitalization, development of artificial intelligence, and comprehensive provision of citizen safety,» said Kazakhstan’s State Counsellor Erlan Karin.
