The first-ever tech conference of Central Eurasia was held
in Silicon Valley, the United States, showcasing Kazakh projects among the top
100 regional startups. Many of these startups have already entered the U.S.
market. Notably, Central Eurasia encompasses Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, the Kyrgyz
Republic, Azerbaijan, Türkiye, Mongolia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Georgia.
Participants had the opportunity to present their projects to representatives
from major global tech companies, universities, venture capital funds, and
leading American investors. By showcasing their solutions, the developers
demonstrated the region’s potential. Experts predict a bright future for
Central Eurasia, stating it will become the next hub for unicorn companies
after Silicon Valley in the coming decades.
«Silicon Valley is at the very center of the global
technological race. Therefore, such meetings with leading specialists and
companies in the industry that define their further development are of great
significance. I believe it is very important to hear the opinions of
specialists in this field to evaluate the startups of young IT professionals
from Kazakhstan and conduct a comparative analysis with other projects,» said
Rauan Kenzhekhanuly, CEO of Bilim Media Group.
«We launched the Silkroad Innovation Hub in 2023 with the
aim of creating a community for founders from Central Eurasia. I can
confidently say that it has become a very successful project, now the largest
community for founders from Central Eurasia worldwide. Additionally, this year,
over 80 startups have joined us as residents, raising more than $30 million in
venture capital investments,» said Asset Abdualiyev, founder of Silkroad
Innovation Hub and organizer of the conference.
