Kazakh startup CodiPlay won a prestigious award in the
UK. Founded by Zhanadil Taldybayev and specializing in programming education
for schoolchildren, the project was named the winner in the «Digital Innovation
of the Year – Learning» category at the international PIEoneer Awards 2024. The
competition featured educational technologies from participants representing 34
countries across 20 categories. Notably, the startup achieved certification in
London and joined the EdTech Impact platform, which evaluates and reviews
EdTech products to help educational institutions find the best solutions.
CodiPlay ranked first in the Educational Robots category and 15th among all
startups on EdTech Impact in the Lessons & Resources category.
«Ecosystem Codiplay includes three products: a mobile
application, which allows children to play game and learn how to code and
program in C++, Python, and Scratch. And we have the Coditeach web platform, which
helps teachers organize lessons, and also teachers can have their training
program. And also we have CodeKit robotic boxes; children using our kits can
use the gained knowledge by making IoT gadgets and prototypes of smart IoT
products like a smart house, smart lamp, traffic light, and a smart barrier,» Taldybayev said.
