President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received Atyrau region
governor Bolat Akchulakov. The Head of State was briefed on the region's
socio-economic development, including the implementation of major investment
projects, the development of the petrochemical industry, and the construction
of social and engineering infrastructure. Particular attention was given to
economic diversification and improving the environmental situation. Following
the meeting, the President issued a number of instructions.
Today, President Tokayev also received Ulytau region governor Yesset Baiken, who briefed the Head of State on efforts to strengthen the region’s industrial capacity, attract investment, and upgrade engineering systems. Baiken also presented proposals for implementing priority projects. President Tokayev gave a series of instructions aimed at ensuring the sustainable development of the Ulytau region and improving residents’ quality of life.
