President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev extended his congratulations
to Metropolitan Alexander of Astana and Kazakhstan, as well as to all Orthodox
Christians, on the occasion of Easter. The Head of State highlighted the
Orthodox Church’s contribution to promoting traditional and family values,
educating the younger generation, and preserving the country’s rich cultural
heritage. In recognition of his efforts to strengthen peace and harmony, President
Tokayev awarded Metropolitan Alexander the Dostyk Order of the I degree.
