The Kazakh Government intends to
develop 16 new draft laws next year, half of them will be aimed at implementing
the instructions of Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. In particular, they
will provide for the development of new technologies, institute of intellectual
property, innovation activities and space industry as well as support for the
social sphere. This was announced by Kazakh Minister of Justice Azamat
Yeskarayev. He presented the corresponding project plan to the government and
noted that there are also plans to submit four separate bills to the Kazakh
Parliament, among which is a draft digital code that will define common
approaches in the field of digitalization taking into account domestic
experience and best international practices.
“The draft plan contains bills required
to solve urgent tasks of government control and complies with the political
course of state development. It has been coordinated with all interested state
bodies. In accordance with the Law ‘On Legal Acts’, it is proposed to submit
the draft plan to the Head of State for approval,” said Yeskarayev.
