Constructive dialogue with businesses will help
to foster a favorable business climate in the country. This was
discussed today by the Kazakh government. As part of measures to enhance the
business environment, it is proposed to develop completely new approaches,
including support for youth business initiatives in the creative economy, bolstering
the workforce potential of businesses in rural areas, and reducing the tax
burden. Furthermore, domestic entrepreneurs need to be protected from
unwarranted government intervention. Additionally, in order to support domestic
agricultural producers, the government is proposing reviewing subsidy systems
and developing an action plan for the implementation of business development
measures. The latter is under the responsibility of the country’s Ministry of
National Economy, relevant government agencies and the National Chamber of
Entrepreneurs.
