The Kazakh government discussed
the stability of oil and gas supplies to the domestic market during a recent
Energy Council meeting, chaired by Prime Minister Alikhan Smailov. Participants
focused on issues related to the gas supply for new investment projects within
the framework of creating high value-added clusters. They emphasized the need
to expand and modernize the relevant energy infrastructure for this purpose.
Additionally, the meeting addressed the crucial matter of ensuring reliable and
accident-free oil transportation to the domestic market through main pipelines.
Following the discussion, Smailov gave government agencies a number of
instructions.
