Microsoft Corporation will support educators in Kazakhstan in using digital capabilities. The Kazakh Ministry of Enlightenment and the world-famous company signed a Memorandum of Cooperation. The parties agreed to strengthen common work in inclusive education and jointly update computer science curriculum. The achieved agreements would give Kazakh teachers the opportunity to get acquainted with the best practices for transforming education. Enlightenment Minister Askhat Aimagambetov noted that even before signing the memorandum, the office cooperated with Microsoft in professional development and certification of Kazakh teachers. For example, under the Microsoft Educator and Microsoft Advanced Educator programs, teachers attended the international educators forum in Hungary, Canada, Singapore, the U.S. and other countries. Besides, students aged 13-18 take part in the global Student Hackathon.
