The prestigious prize “Prizvanie” was awarded to the Kazakh oncologist Dilyara Kaidarova. The doctor received the award in Moscow on the eve of the Medical Worker Day. The Director-General of the Kazakh Institute of Oncology and Radiology was awarded for the successful outcome of the oncofertility program. This is a joint project of Kazakh and Russian scientists. The prize “Prizvanie” has been awarded for ten years to doctors who have made a breakthrough in the creation of new methods of treatment and diagnostics, made bright scientific discoveries and contributed to the development of world medicine.
“In Kazakhstan, more than 50 children were born using these new technologies. This award is “For the creation of a new direction in medicine”, when there is an opportunity for mothers, who have had cancer, to have children,” said Dilyara Kaidarova, Director General, Kazakh Institute of Oncology and Radiology.
