A special online platform will
remove the need for Kazakh citizens to visit Public Service Centers or consult
a notary when purchasing or selling real estate. The platform capabilities were
discussed today at the Government’s meeting. The online service will be
provided using Blockchain and biometric identification technologies. All
activities and video materials related to each property will be stored in the e-government
system. The process, which previously took several days, will now be reduced to
one hour. To date, around 93 percent of public services in the country are
available in electronic form. Thanks to the measures taken, Kazakhstan ranks
eighth in the UN’s online service index.
